Celtic Cup -
All arrangements are well advanced for this year’s annual Celtic Cup game against the St.Andrews Society on Saturday September 18 2010 at Vintage Golf Course. This is the same venue as last year and St. Andrews, as the holders of the Cup, have arranged the bookings and the festivities after the game. The apres golf party will be held at the Cross Bar just off Asoke, again the same as last year. We want to put together a strong team to regain the Cup and bragging rights for next year.
The first tee off will be at 12:00 noon from both the 1st and 10th tees, with 10 groups booked for this challenge. As there is a limit on team places, 20 golfers per Society, please indicate your desire to participate as soon as possible. In the event that demand for places exceeds those available, preference will be given to those members who have supported the Society in other golf events, such as the Inter-Society golf tournament and the Turkey Trot. Intersocieties 2010 – This year it is our turn to host this event and we want to make it a party to remember (as well as winning the competition). The event is scheduled for Pattana Golf Course on October 30 and 31 2010. Much more to come closer to the event. If you want to play for the Irish this year, please consider this message as your invitation to join us in the fun and games.
